About Us

Crafting unforgettable, authentic Italian experiences with passion, creativity, and a commitment to true Italian culture.

A conversation with Moreno Moretti

I have spent the last 10 years of my life traveling through Italy, from North to South, discovering every corner of this wonderful place, and meeting amazing people during my journey; the kind of people able to add something to your life: artisans, chefs, innkeepers that through their jobs, their passions and their insights preserve the massive culture that Italy still represents in the World. Sometimes if not all the times, experiences are the values making anything worthy and this is why I truly believe that the fuel of success is loving what you are doing with all your heart. I love to consider myself as an artisan, your gateway to Italy, someone able to tailor –made for you the perfect travel experience because he is first a passionate traveler who wants to share with you his knowledge and understanding of whatever truly means living the Italian dream. I am a curious soul and this is why I am always eager to discover something more about my country, a unique place where traditions and history are mixed and transformed in our daily lives. I have always been in love with traveling. Discovering new cultures and traditions, sometimes so different from those we are used to. Traveling to the East and to the Deep South of the world to get to know places out of the ordinary, and sometimes challenging. My goal is to use these experiences to make your journey to Italy unforgettable. Because there are many places in the world, but none of them is like home. Italy is almost a space out of time, a crossroads of many cultures, dialects, and traditions that intersect together, a land where history was made through the centuries, and where still today, not just its memory persists, but evolve into something new and thrilling. My mission is to collect this know-how and to use it to create the perfect travel experience for you and only for you. A journey is a personal quest, a path that needs to follow the traveler’s pace, his desires, and thoughts. This is why I want to know your dreams, your ideas, and your needs. I want to get to know you, to offer you the best way to live in Italy, to fall in love with it as I did. I like to consider myself a renaissance entrepreneur, a man who cherishes quality above everything else, someone who deeply wants to add value to his life: because any experience is something you live, it is a part of it; it is a day, a week, an interaction or even a simple chat. It’s everything and anything in between: the only way to make it unforgettable is to make it meaningful. This is my mission, my passion, and my expertise and this is also why I decided to invest my time on it. Life is a beautiful journey, let’s discover it together… With love, Moreno Moretti

I completed a cooking tour in Lithuania sponsored by Lithuania Restaurant Association (LVRA). I was the director of this project, whose aim was to promote Italian cooking skills and food products in two weeks.

In 2013 I was asked by Maria Liberati to be the recipe consultant for Central Italy in her new book “The Basic Art of Italian Cooking”. We have also extended our collaboration to organize her locations for her television show on PBS in the US.

In September 2012 I organized an interesting wine and food tour in Ascoli Piceno for Sara Lafountain, a famous fashion model and Finnish-American celebrity chef. I had the pleasure to go shopping with her in many local supermarkets and little stores, where she could buy a large variety of fresh products, which had been later used in the cooking class she took for some representants of a well-known Finnish insurance company, Fennia (in collaboration with the agency Ameno).

For the May/June 2012 edition of the Jamie Magazine, I was commissioned by the editor’s consultant in Italy, Gianluca Giorgi, to plan a food tour of the artisan products and producers in the zone of Ascoli Piceno as well as a dinner at the Agriturismo Ramuse of Paolo Ciccioli, a very good friend of mine.

In April 2009 I was honoured to work with Heston Blumenthal, one of the best chefs in the world and the owner of many of the most excellent English restaurants like the three-Michelin-starred Fat Duck. I was thrilled to be featured as local consultant in one of the episodes of the British programme at Channel 4, “Feast with Heston Blumenthal”, where I helped him in the research of the most relevant recipes of our territory like porchetta (a particular kind of roasted suckling pork), salami and ciauscolo (a spreadable kind of salami).

In September 2012 I arranged a wine and food tour in the beautiful city of Pesaro together with Maud Onnermark, a famous Swedish TV chef in partnership to goslowtravel.se. I guided her to discover many typical cheese varieties and the fine red wine Lacrima di Morro d’Alba. I also involved her in a truffle hunting and in a cooking class in order to learn how to make pasta with herbs.

In October 2012 I collaborated as local consultant during the filming of a documentary about Le Marche together with the celebrity chef Sarah Fragoso, a famous author of various national best-sellers like “Everyday Paleo Family Cookbook”. Sarah interviewed me and posted the video entitled “An Intro to the Beautiful Marche!” on her personal blog EVERYDAY PALEO Recipes for life. We talked a lot about the importance to keep the old regional traditions alive and to use the fresh products grown by local farmers and small food suppliers. Thanks to a wine and food tour in the Pesaro area, Sarah and I went exploring new gluten-free products that she wisely used to prepare tasty dishes during a short cooking course.
